Read Before Purchase: These are replacement housings with a full set of buttons for Nintendo Switch & Nintendo Switch OLED Joy-Cons, without any electronic parts. Customers will need to disassemble their existing Joy-Cons and replace the shells and buttons. This process requires moderate electronic installation experience.
Installation Tips: - Difficulty: High - Time Spent: 3 hours or more - Patience Needed: High - Go slow, check every connection, and keep your screws organized. - Watch a tutorial video on YouTube (search "ExtremeRate Switch Joycon New Horizon Style") and pause/replay often. - Be careful when tightening the screws, as this can affect the button responsiveness. - Use a Tri-Wing screwdriver for the outer screws, and be cautious not to strip the screws or overtighten them. - Delicate ribbon cables need to be removed and reattached carefully, using tweezers instead of fingers. - The ZR and ZL buttons are spring-loaded, so exercise caution when opening the Joy-Cons.
