Customized Xbox Series X/S Controller - Black
The eXtremeRate HOPE remap kit is an evolutionary upgrade kit that adds advanced gaming functionality to your existing controller for Xbox Series X/S. This remap kit allows you to easily transform your existing Xbox Series X/S controller into a professional e-Sport gamepad with an additional 4 programmable remap buttons.
The product is designed specifically for the Xbox Series X/S, compatible with the Xbox Core controller (Model 1914). However, the controller itself is not included in the package.
This remap upgrade solution provides a competitive edge in online gaming and tournaments, while remaining entirely legal. You can remap up to 14 buttons to the 4 additional buttons, which can be accessed using your middle fingers. This is a significant advantage, as you won't need to move your thumbs off the sticks and triggers to reach other buttons like ABXY during fast-paced FPS or shooter games.
The installation process is quite complex, with a high level of difficulty and patience required. It's essential to carefully review the installation video guide available on YouTube before attempting the installation. If you encounter any issues during the installation process, you're encouraged to reach out to the manufacturer for assistance. The key steps involve soldering the FPC board, which needs to be fixed with double-sided tape before soldering. Caution is advised when soldering, as the soldering time for each TP point should be less than 1 second to avoid damaging the components.
After successfully completing the installation, you can test the device using the provided tester board. If all the LEDs on the tester board are not lit, you should check the P2 and TP35 solder points to ensure they are correctly soldered. If only some of the LEDs are not lit, check the corresponding solder points.
Once the installation is complete, you can enter the buttons programming mode by toggling the switch to the right, which will activate the blue light. During gameplay, you can then assign a maximum of 14 buttons (A, B, X, Y, L3, R3, LT, RT, LB, RB, Up, Down, Left, and Right) to the back buttons.
The package includes the HOPE remap board, HOPE tester board, HOPE cable FPC1 & FPC2 & FPC3, a redesigned back shell with a battery cover, left/right side rails, 4 back buttons, a prying tool, T8h, T6, and cross screwdrivers, and 29 screws.
To further customize your controller, you can combine the HOPE remap kit with other eXtremeRate products, such as the Clicky Hair Trigger, ABXY Clicky Kit (V2), Clicky & Trigger Stop Kit, Trigger Stop Kit, Custom DTF LED Kit, ABXY Buttons, and Home LED Stickers.
